More from the FOQ

I thought I would show you some more beautiful quilts that were being exhibited last week at the Festival of Quilts.

This next quilt was so so long - lots of individual house blocks, such fun!

Lots of log cabin variations, and houses.

And this Union Jack made from Kaffe Fassett fabrics was just great, bright and fun.

I have tried to show you a cross section of just a few of the beautiful pieces that were on view - there is so much talent and creativity out there - congratulations, and thank you, to all those who worked so hard - now looking forward to FOQ 2012!

  3. I fear I shall have to add the Festival of Quilts to my 'to do' list - your pics are wonderful. I love seeing all the clever ideas people have for their quilting - some people really go all out!
Now if I can just persuade my other half that a visit back to the UK so soon after the last one can be justified....

  5. Hi, Angie

Yes, I had such a great time in the Festival of Quilts! It was my first time but it won't be the last. I enjoyed each one of the four days there.
The exhibition was fabolous, I took lots of ideas, and the shops, incredible, i also said I didn't need more fabric but it was so cheap...! Here in Spain, fabric cost almost double than there. It was a dangerous tentation!!!
    Thanks for visiting my blog
