I had great fun making this boy's quilt with cowboy fabric, with a few guitars and bandanna prints gave it a contemporary edge. I used large 9" square along with a four-patch and smaller 5" squares. The overall effect is busy but fun.

Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteLovely to meet a fellow Born to Quilt fan! I love your log cabin quilt, it's very 'Vero' in the colour scheme!! And yes, what a lovely lady she is. I've never seen her first Mystery Quilt (don't think so anyway) and would be very interested in seeing a picture of it if you had one available?! :0)
Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words – I am glad to be back in the saddle so to speak!!
And you're right; stitching really is very therapeutic – I think it’s keeping me sane at the moment!
Take care

Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteThanks again for your lovely comments. I hope you've had a nice and peaceful Easter Sunday. I will confess that after dinner I had two of those Cadbury mini eggs - not too naughty eh!!!
